Seeking to follow Christ together

How Should We Pray During The Pandemic – Daniel Bara

Good morning church! Welcome to our first online service. I am so happy to have you join us today!Although this may not be the format for how we typically worship, it is a gift to have technology that allows us to worship together even if we’re not physically in the same place. Because God says that where 2 or 3 are gathered, He is in the midst of them. So even during an International pandemic, we are going to continue to virtually gather together and worship Him,  sing together, and pray together, and we are so glad you have chosen to join us for worship today. This time is the perfect opportunity to practice one of our core beliefs as Christians, which is that the Church is not a building, but the people. I know, this virus is scary, and we don’t know what the world is coming to or what tomorrow will hold, or even what today will hold. It seems every few minutes, there is another news headline saying something even scarier. And it’s so easy for us to get angry and confused, and to ask God, “How could you do this? What are you doing in all of this?”But as Christians, we know that we were never promised a problem-free life. Because in John 16:33, God says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” And isn’t that an empowering thing to remember? That no matter what happens in this world, no matter how crazy and scary it gets, we serve a God who has already overcome it for us!So, let’s join together in prayer and thank Him for that. Church let’s take a few minutes and pray together right now, in our own houses. After we prayed, lets sing a few songs and worship our great God. Now, let’s hear from His Word. Take your Bible and follow me as I am going to share the word God with you. Have a blessed Sunday, Daniel
